Kaptan Demir Çelik; started to make iron and steel production in the first Rolling Mill built in 1964 in Karabük. Today, the company has been making productions in compliance with the international standards at its Steel Mill, Rolling Mill, and Oxygen Factory located in the Trakya region.
Steel Mill
Kaptan Demir Çelik Steel Mill which was built in 2002 in Marmara Ereğlisi is the only steel mill of the region, and has been producing 1.4 million tons of billet iron per year. Kaptan Demir Çelik Steel Mill is located 7 Km. far from Martaş port facilities, and 5 Km. from the highway.
